Up for auction today is a1956 Mercury Monterey Four Door Hardtop Phaeton owned by Dita Von Teese. This has been in her personal collection for many years. The car is in very nice condition. The car starts right up after sitting for many months at a time. The car is absolutely rust free and under the car is as clean and the body. It has always been stored inside. The car was purchased by Dita from a former child star and we know the history of the car for the 30 years. The car just had a complete service with all fluids changed, new plugs, cap rotor and points, New battery and tires. The interior is very nice with the carpet and dash cover new 2 years ago. The only issue is the black on the passenger side back door has some slight crazing. The chrome is beautiful.
