1956 Mercury Montclair Hardtop

Up for sale by a private individual is this 'frame-off', completely, restored 1956 Mercury Montclair 2-door hardtop. Restoration was completed in late 2015, driven less than 3000 miles, and it took over 6 years to complete. Body was taken off the frame and both were media blasted, and the frame had zinc chromate sprayed inside it to prevent any rusting!

This is a multiple show winner in many ways. Every nut, bolt, and screw was replaced including the wiring harness. Some of the original equipment was retained such as the glass, which is in very good condition (no cracks or chips).

Factory options include AM radio, clock, Power steering, fender skirts, and Mercury spinner hubcaps up front.

On a scale of 1 (show condition) to 5 (needs restoration). This Mercury is a strong 3+, runs great, very reliable

Owner is selling due to personal reasons.
