1952 Mercury Monterey Standard

1952 Mercury Monterey Convertible. I bought this car out of Georgia in 2004 and finally brought it home this Spring. Since then the following has been done-NEW Radiator,NEW Fuel Pump,NEW Fuel Line,NEW Gas Tank,ALL NEW Brakes (steel and flex lines,wheel cylinders,shoes & master cylinder),NEW Exhaust Pipe,NEW Muffler,NEW Tail Pipe,NEW Tires and last week a NEW Convertible Top (with new tacking strips and new pads). Converted to 12 Volt with a NEW Neutral Safety Switch,NEW Alternator,NEW Horns,NEW Horn Relay and all NEW Bulbs,etc.. The 1957 Ford 292 V-8 runs okay when driving but the carb does need to be rebuilt since it does not idle very well due to running too rich.The Ford-O-Matic Automatic Transmission shifts fine. All the lights work (including the Fog Lights). A solid car with two patches in the floor which were done many,many years ago.Solid trunk floor with some minor pin holes. Solid body,doors,hood,trunk lid,etc. (the Coronado Kit on the trunk lid I want to keep). The rear seat springs are mint and have been cleaned and painted (pictured).They are ready to upholster.The rear metal panels on the left and right of the rear seat are very good and ready to upholster.I have the snap moldings,the side trim and stone shields. Since I have not painted or upholstered the car you can choose the colors you want. TO BE INCLUDED if you "BUY IT NOW" is over $500 of NEW Top Weatherstripping which I have ordered and not yet received. Clean title.
