Yes, those miles are for real. This Mercedes has always been a San Diego car and is as close to one rolling off the assembly line in 1989 as you’re ever going to find. Everything works and it’s an absolute pleasure to drive.

This car was bought brand new here in San Diego by a successful older gentleman for whom it was his pride and joy. He drive it sparingly until his untimely passing. His wife, didn’t want to part with the vehicle and she didn’t want to drive it. So it sat in their climate controlled garage under the included car cover. And it sat there, and it sat there, on non-op status until her passing. At that point, her children asked us to represent the vehicle.

During the time of its reconditioning the children wanted out and we took over as owners of the vehicle. The car has been completely gone through by our Mercedes mechanic. All new fluids, belts, hoses, air conditioning converted and recharged, everything that was needed to make this vehicle function like new was done. It drives great. This 300E recent passed the California smog check so you know it’s running right and there are no leaks of any kind.

The inline six cylinder engine starts right up and promptly settles in. All lights, buzzers, radio, power locks, power windows, work flawlessly. The interior, as you can see in the pictures is perfect. No cracks in the wood trim or the dash. You could not find a better 1989 300E, except to get into your time machine and head to 1989 and buy one new.

This is a NO RESERVE auction. When your bid is the highest, you’re the owner. If your bid is the highest last bid, you for sure are the owner. Make sure you get whatever permission you need prior to bidding.

This vehicle is for sale locally and we reserve the right to end the auction at any time. A non-refundable deposit of $1,000.00 is due at the end of the auction. We are located in San Diego and will gladly assist with any shipping as necessary.
