Up for sale is a beautiful 1959 Mercedes 220 S 6 cylinder 4-speed manual transmission with a completely rebuilt engine done by a professional Mercedes repair shop in Daytona Beach. The car spent most its life in Santa Barbara California where it later moved to Texas in 2012 and then I bought the car in 2016 from an estate lawyer. The car is equipped with a 2195 CC 6 cylinderengine engine.Inside the original wooden dashboard with wooden trims in perfect condition. It also has a velour seat that was put in in 1991. The carpet is in perfect condition and the whole car is rust free. The recently rebuilt engine came with the following - head gasket set, rebuilt fuel pump, new clutch set, and bearing, and clutch plate, new steering damper, new freeze plugs, new heater boxes, resurfaced heads and pressure test, and resurfaced crankshaft, new thermostat, new rear end seals and boots, new muffler, new engine main bearing, and rod bearing, new6 piston sets, rings, and bushings, also the block was honed to size 80mm to fit the new pistons.new valve set and guide, spark plugs wire point and caps, radiator flush, 4 brake shoes and wheel cylinder, new transmission seals and shifter bushing. rebuilt steering box, all the lights on the car are new and the chrome bumpers are in perfect condition, paint is shiny and perfect with some light scratches,and dime size shallow ding on roof, all the doors open and close perfectly.
