Up for sale is this 1982 Mercedes-Benz 300CD Coupe W123 TURBODIESEL 2-Door with and the rare Euro specifications 329,000 kilometers (205,000 miles).
Freshly new paint, not the best, but decent and good enough to make it a head turner. Reliable vintage Mercedes that you can use as a daily driver and tinker once in a while.
I drove this car in the Carolinas up to 300 miles one way and never had issues. Car drives smooth, engine runs strong, transmission shifts smoothly, suspension is soft, overall handling feels like it just came out of a dealer shop!
I recently replaced the drive belts, Turbo assembly, replaced and reseal oil pan gasket. Sunroof works, antenna is stuck in the middle but does not affect the radio reception.Interior is almost flawless with just a couple of tears on the driver side seat and arm rest (see photo). Dashboard is flawless with just ONE thin crack (about 1 cm) near the back of the instrument cluster.
This is a solid, well built sport car by German engineers that would be a good cruiser for the summer and will appreciate in value.
