1961 Mercedes-Benz 190-Series
This motorcar was from a time when Mercedes Benz's were built by hand by the best Master German Craftsmen.
I have owned this since 2010, but only driven this for roughly about 1000 miles.(I put this on a street only two years ago.)
This Mercedes is extremely well both mechanically and cosmetically.
It is a 1.9 L straight 4 cylinder diesel "Original" engine with 4 on the tree, manual transmission.
As you can hopefully see it in the picture, painting was done professionally as well as inner trim, headliner is new, carpet is new, Insolation underneath the carpet and seats are reupholstered with new cover. Bakelite trim is redone. See pictures for detail.
Below are the overview of Replacement/Repair over the time that I owned it.(Everything I replaced/repair is under 1000 miles used). This car is pretty much restored fully.
1) Clutch
2) Injection Pump was professionally rebuilt and adjusted
3) Brake systems are completely redone.
4) Wheel Bearings
5) Rubber mounts
6) New Exhaust
7) New Front LED Headlights. As you see, it looks much nicer. But I do have the original lights that you can have.
8) Much more things that I cannot quite remember.
