1986 560 SL Roadster looks and runs Great. Super clean inside & out.

1986 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class 560 SL 560SL convertible + hardtop roadster

THE POSITIVES (almost everything is positive): Clean title.Always garaged.Babied by the same mature female owner for 25 yrs.Convertible top recently replaced, looks like new. Original matching hardtop in good shape complete with custom lift for storage and installation. Driven most of its life in Southern California so no rust issues. Leather seats look perfect. Everything works, even the original analog dial thermometer and the original analog clock which keeps perfect time. The car runs & drives smooth and strong. Driver side airbag. Comes with spare tire and original Mercedes jack, roadside tools and first aid kit. This is a sturdy machine with great handling. It is not unusual for these engines to go a third of a million miles or more before needing a bottom-end overhaul.
THE NEGATIVES (not many, but full disclosure): We saw minor oil leaks and runs a bit rough on cold start so took to Mercedes Benz mechanic for full check on anything needed. Minor rear differential & crankshaft leak. Sun visors not perfect. Replacing injectors, & vacuum system seals & hoses should make engine run purr-fectly smooth. Right windshield squirter needs check valve. Trans has slight hesitation in reverse. 3rd brake light is inop.Original dash has ABS replacement overlay installed which looks just like original dash (pictures available if desired).Many additional photos available on request.
