Sadly, need to thin the herd. This is a terrific opportunity to drive one of the best handling front wheel drive cars ever produced. It can be used as an everyday driver, or more of an exotic, weekend, top-down, driving car. The performance is fantastic and will be enjoyed, especially given the build quality (during the GM days) and the bullet proof engine and drivetrain.

A bit about the M100:

TheLotusM100 Elan, is a two-seater, convertible sports car designed by Lotus, with a reliable Japanese engine, turbocharged in this instance, andmanual transmissionsupplied byIsuzu, and built with the development and testing resources ofGeneral Motors. Around £35million (about $55million) was invested in its development,[5]more than any other car in Lotus history. Its design, featuring a fiberglass composite body over a rigid steelbackbone chassis, was true to Lotus founderColin Chapman's original philosophy of achieving performance through low weight.

There were approximately 800 M100's that arrived in the United States in 1991, the only year one could buy one in the US.

This Vehicle:

Low mileage, and well maintained. It has under 36,000 miles. It's being driven sparingly so the mileage will move up, albeit slightly.

It's a 1991, turbo charged model, and it comes with a clear (NY) Title.

As one can see in the pictures, this red example shows very well. It's OEM red has been recently refreshed. It's not a show car, but it looks good. There is a new one inch chip in the door from opening the door inside the garage

The interior as you can also see is in excellent condition. Unlike other true performance cars, this car is quite comfortable. The leather seats are handsome and quite supportive. And the overall drive is rather agreeable. It has power, handles extremely well, and also can double as a touring, comfort car.

A high-end bluetooth head unit is the only non-oem change on the interior. For hands free and music streaming, this is a nice mod.

Many articles have said this is the most reliable Lotus ever made. But that can be left up for debate. The mechanical areas on the car are known to be reliable. And this example is no exception. Starts right up, and has the service and maintenance attention to ensure it will stay reliable for the next owner.

The car will come with new rotors, brake pads, battery, tires.

The soft top is also new - about two years old. And looks very good.

All fluids are up to date, and all hoses and belts are either brand new, or in very good condition.
