Up for sale is my 1956 Lincoln Premiere custom built Hot Rod Lincoln. This was a four door converted into a two door, fully welded and reinforced. The interior is bare and still retains the original bench seats and an extra set of front seats from an old Ford will be included in the sale. A roll bar was added and the left and right side windows have been removed, however they were flat panel glass and can be custom fabricated out of Lexan or glass easily. The build was going to resemble a vintage 1950's stock car, Nascar tribute look (see photo). The body is very straight with minimal rust. A little wrought on the top of the rocker panel on the driver's side as seen in photo, an easy fix. This is a very solid car and is driven every week. It has the original 368 Lincoln Y-Block motor and automatic transmission that runs very strong. It features 4 new tires, new brakes / power booster and lines and a new battery. It has power steering and power brakes. New fuel lines were installed and gas tank cleaned out. It also has functioning headlights behind the light covers. All lights work except turning signals will need to be installed in front. All gauges work except Speedometer has a cigarette stuck on the needle inside of gauge, may still work once removed or leave it as a conversation piece? I also have some of the original interior and some exterior trim pieces that will go with the sale. The front bumper is off of a 1959 Chrysler Imperial and was reworked to fit the nose and features bullets from a 57 Chevy. I have a custom grill that also goes on the front of the car and some new mechanical parts. The front seal on the transmission does have a small leak and a new gasket kit will be included with the parts, but the transmission shifts fine and works as it should. It comes with a clean title and current registration.
