Description:

1973 Lincoln Mark Series CONTINENTAL MARK IV

This Mark IV is in excellent condition and a real beauty. Original 8 track, A/C, Headlamp Doors...all operational.

Yes -that's correct it only has 39,000 original miles! I bought the car with 36,000 miles November 2015. I AM the second owner. I bought the car for my 85 year old Father who decided it was too "much" car for him at that time.

Referred to as a "20 Footer", the longer 10 Foot wheel base allows for a smoother, floating sensation of a ride with this 19+ Foot overall length "gem".

The interior is clean . Both front seats are power adjustable and both front and back are light brown leather button and tuck design with "NO" wear or cracks. Dash is original with the A/C, 8 track tape player and all functional controls. Headliner is flawless. Cartier mechanical dash clock does not work at this moment. (Fuse ?)

Equipped with the 460cu(7.5L) FORD 385 Series V8 engine, this MARK IV is capable of a 10.8 second 0-60 MPH. This engine flat out kicks. Smooth ride is accomplished with the FORD C6 Three Speed Automatic Transmission. The ride is indicative of the ever so smooth experience of the 1970's FORD Full size luxury design automobile.

Tires are slightly oversized for a fuller profile look to the MARK IV and have at least 90% tread left.

The wheels are an after market economyspoke. The stock wheels were disposed of bymy good UNION Brother andoriginal owner. He bought this car for his wife, new, and she became incapacitated (Alzheimers)in '85. He kept the car in the garage for her to see from time to time. Was not a daily driver after her illness onset and thusthe low mileage. The car was serviced semi annually and kept in the garage. Previously listed with1146 views and53 watchers, the bids reached $7,101.00 (12.5% shy)toward the reserve (close but no cigar) . I am therefore lowering the reserve price sothis fine one of a kind will end up in onelucky person's possession.
