Description:

1978 Lincoln Mark Series Mark V

This 1978 Lincoln Continental Mark V Cartier Edition has only 35,171 ACTUAL, DOCUMENTED MILES (at time of listing, which will changeslightly, as I drive it weekly). This Lincoln was purchased new at Carroll Motors in Conway, SC (15 miles inland from Myrtle Beach, SC). I purchased it from the second owner (Son-In-Law of original owner) and I live in Upstate SC, so it's been in SC all of it's life. It's always been garage kept andmeticulously cared for. Mechanically it's in perfectcondition and needs nothing. The tires are 95%. The Interior, including the trunk is in excellent condition. The air condition is ice cold. The clock, factory cb radio and power antenna does not work. Everything else works perfect. Overall the original paint is in good condition. First and foremost, I ask that you look very closely at the pictures, as I pointed to every defect on the body that I could find. You can see that there are a few blemishes, mostly at the chrome, caused by surface rust, ( I guess caused from the original owners cruising Myrtle Beach Ocean Boulevard for the years they owned it. Salt air will do it) which areapproximately the size of a dime and there's also a few spots on the underside flange of the trunk lid. The engine compartment needs to be detailed. I do not believe these blemishes would be hard or expensive to fix, which would make the car perfect. Please read the Condition Description Section carefully. Let me assure you that the overall excellent condition of this 38 year oldcollectiable antique automobile masterpiece is far greater than the few things thataren't perfect. I have tried to focus on everything that needs to be fixed, more so than the excellent, so you don't have to worry about any unpleasant surprises. I am very proud of my 100% positive rating oneBay as a seller andwouldn'tjepordize it for any sale. This automobile drives, runs and handles like a magic carpet dream. NADA Classic Car Guide values this Lincoln at $17,775.(average retail) and $29,150.(high retail). However, due to aunfortunatefinancial hardship, I'm forced to offer it to you for $12,500.00 CASH. I have the clean SC Title in hand along with the original owners manual, 21 page original sales brochure, Lincoln (PPG) paint/trim chart and a 5 volume original shop manuals. Again please be assured that to the best of my ability I'm making a 100% honest representation of this automobile. Thanks for looking, good luck and God Bless!
