Offered for sale is one of the very nicest Lincoln Mark III 's to be found in the country. I started assembling a collection of Mark's several years ago. I had grown up working at a Lincoln Mercury Dealership all through high school and college and these cars were always one of my favorites from the super cool chopped top look they have to the Rolls Royce Grille and hideaway headlights to the incredible ride and that 460 4V motor that packs 365 HP from the factory. This particular Mark that I call "Fargo" is one of the most unique color combinations I have ever found or seen and I scoured the entire country several years locating the top Mark's out there. The exterior is considered Dark Metallic Grey and the interior, ven though it looks a little Aqua, s called Light Grey. It comes complete with the "Marti Report" which documents everything from order date and completion to all the factory options and original Dealership. This Mark features just about every option from dual 6 way power seats, ower windows, actory AM/FM Stereo Radio,power antenna,cruise control, utomatic headlight dimmer, ower trunk release, ilt wheel, .00 Posi-Traction rear end, ure-Trac Anti-lock rear brakes,and more. I drive all of my Mark's regularly and each keeps a full tank of non-ethanol premium gasoline and ready for the road at a moment's notice. I just drove Fargo several hundred miles at Interstate speeds a couple of weeks ago and turned so many heads that I couldn't count them all. The overall condition of the car is amazing and it looks exactly as these pictures depict at this very moment. Obviously, t stays covered in an indoor building until I take it out for a drive. It had one very high quality repaint back around 2000 and still looks like it could have been painted last year. The original Calvary Twill roof is near perfect and the interior is 100% original as well, ncluding the original Lincoln floor mats. The trunk looks just like the pictures and under the hood has never been "detailed" and looks like it did originally. Fargo will come with it's original 15" steel wheels with a nearly new set of radial tires and the original Lincoln Mark III hubcaps, s well as the 17" Torque Thrust Wheels and Falken tires which are all like new and give it such a "look". Fargo currently has around 72000 original miles but that changes slightly as I drive it ocassionally. I would not hesitate to drive this car across the country in a moment as it is totally road ready and actually gets great fuel mileage compared to my other Mark's.
