Welcome to this auction for this truly rare and amazing example of a collectors Land Rover 90.

OVERVIEW

This Land Rover county 90 was imported by myself from the UK recently. The power is from a 2.5-liter turbo diesel inline-four mated to a five-speed manual transmission, the truck has been just been stripped to bare metal and resprayed in its original green. Inside is a grey and black interior with 2 front seats and a center console, with four inward-facing jump seats in the rear. The cargo area is covered with a branded rubber mat.

A full fluid and filter service was carried out in preparation for the sale by a Land Rover main dealer.This 90 has only covered 67,000 miles and has cleared customs, cleared Florida VIN inspection and has a clean florida title along with a previous clean UK title.

HISTORY

It started its life as a Land Rover demonstration vehicle before being sold to its first owner with 230 miles on it. There is also a factory fitted rare warn winch and snorkel for which I have manuals and paperwork to prove are original. The first owner purchased it to use on his estate for shooting and locally in his village. It was built with the extras of its time including a BT in-car telephone and hands free that still works, and the original radio player and speakers that also work like they did when they were installed. It lived in his 30 car private garage until recently when the collection was sold off and i purchased this fantastic car and another 110. It has been looked after extremely well as you will see and is in original condition. Any parts that have been replaced have been done so with original Land Rover parts.

ENGINE

Mechanically there are no words to describe it other than excellent. The 2.5-liter 200 TDI turbo diesel inline-four pushes power to all four wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox and a two-speed transfer case. The engine has barely been run in at 67,000 genuine miles. It has just had fluid changes that were performed in preparation for this sale by a Land Rover main dealer.

ENGINE BAY

The rest of the engine bay is clean and tidy with no leaks from the engine and no rust or previous welding repairs under the bulkhead. The original VIN is in tact and the heater is working fine. It has its original radiator along with brass water tank. it is quite clean in general and all working fine.

MOVING PARTS

This has had many refreshments including shock absorbers and rubber seals, CV joints, boots, fuel pump / lift, exhaust system, both prop shafts and a complete overhaul of the front and rear brakes with new seals, along with steering. The wheel seals do not leak.

BODYWORK

The bodywork has just undergone a strip down and respray in its same original color due to the paint fading and has been done to a very good standar, along with the bumpers resprayed also. The bumpers did not previously need treating for rust due to the County 90 being garaged and the low usage. It has no corrosion, rust or dents. The roof has been left alone and remains in its original paint and in good condition.

The inside floors are in a good condition and do not require any welding and do not have any holes. The same applies for the battery compartment.

CHASIS

The chasis is in amazing condition and shows no rust, previous welding work or any holes. It really is exceptional to be this clean. It has recently been professionally weather treated (receipts provided) so this will not need attention.

INTERIOR

The interior retains its 6 original seats which are not stained. 2 front seats are grey cloth and a leather center console that is original (not pictured as it has just been removed to be cleaned. the one in the picture is not the one what will come with the truck). All the switches, buttons and instruments work as originally intended to along with the sunroof, heated rear window and window wipers. Behind the forward folding seats is an original factory BT - telephone with a hands free operating system including speaker and microphone and a full tool kit with winch remote. To the rear cargo area are four inward-facing jump seats. The cargo area is covered with a branded rubber mat.

WHEELS

5 great condition wheels and tyres. the 5th wheel on the rear of the Land Rover is unused.

A fully galvanized roof rack is fitted with a folding ladder that is fully operational.

This is a fully spectacular example of a classic 90. There aren't too many around in the UK any more like this let alone in the US. This is an unspoiled collectors edition if thats what any one is looking for - if not it is an every day driver.
