Collector quality with such low miles. Very hard to find one with this low of miles! You can verify this through searching the tag numbers or vin on the UK MOT HISTORY CHECK.
1988 Land Rover Defender 110 4c SW Estate. A freshened 1992 200TDI (discovery "low mount turbo" engine w approx 60k) with a discovery gear box and 1.2 transfer case (better for highway driving) were installed to replace the older 1988 68HP 2.5l engine. ( I also import and sell complete engine conversions )
All of her fluids have been freshened up and she runs and drives amazing, always starts on the first try.
Digital reading temp gauge was installed. I have fitted a button for the glow plugs directly under the indicators / gauges on the dashboard
Front and rear Dif guards.
She has four speakers that sound great but unfortunately someone stole the CD player out of her and I have not replaced it.
16" Sawtooth wheels with brand new 265/75/16 tires. Brakes are in great condition with most of their life left.
Safari snorkel.
The color on her is a burnt orange with metal flake. It was painted by the previous owner around 4 years ago, and wherever they took it to did a spectacular job. The pictures truly do not do the paint justice, it is very shiny and bright. She has one dent in her on the drivers door. Right hand drive... driver door :)
The seats are original and in AMAZING shape. they appear to be new - no rips, tears, or stains.
The bulkhead is in GREAT shape as well as all of the outriggers, frame, and rear cross member.
Has a ribbed roof with alpine windows.
incredibly bright back up light.
The doors - 3 have zero rust and 2 have been repaired and have a small amount of corrosion. Nothing major at all - they are in very good shape and shut like they are new.
All of the window seals and gaskets are in good shape and the vehicle does not leak water.
Heater works great, there is no AC in her though. Manual windows, manual door locks. Everything that came in the car originally works just as it should. The flaps open and close with ease.
