I am selling my beautiful black 1991 Land Rover Defender 90, left hand drive on and off road truck. This Classic 4x4 is the most current year available for import (25 years old) and has the revered 200 Turbo Diesel (Tdi) engine, 5 speed manual. This truck was imported 100% legally from Italy and is registered in CT. It currently has 125,000km which is only 75,000 miles!
Runs beautifully, starts every time. Best of all the diesel gets around 30mpg!
1991 is the first year they started making Defenders with the 200tdi engine. Previously, the 2.5 diesels used were far less powerful and many of those older trucks now require engine swaps. The 200tdi in this truck is one of the best mechanical diesels ever made, and they have been known to drive for well over 300,000 miles.
These Defenders are becoming harder and harder to come across and this one is really in great shape, just see the photos and let me know if you want to see a particular spot.
This truck had a paint job a few years ago (see photos) and has multiple off road accessories like internal and external roll bars, roof rack, 16,000 pound working winch, off road seats, overhead lights, chequer plating, front cage, etc. Also has speakers and wired up, just needs a radio. Really great for every day driving and off-roading, I even have a separate set of large treat off road wheels that I will include with it.
This truck would make a great daily driver, off-road vehicle, or around town fun truck.
