1987 Lamborghini Countach

1987 Lamborghini Countach 5000 Quattrovalve
This is one of the most Iconic Supercars of the 80's. The poster of this car was usually next to the poster of Farrah Fawcette. They made the Countach QV for only three years from1985 to 1988 and it is known to be the best performing and most popular of all Countach's. In response to the challenge thrown down by Ferrari's new Testarossa, Lamborghini reclaimed the title of "fastest car in the world" with its enhanced Countach QV. The QV had grown to over 5 litres and with the adaption of 4 valves per cylinder achieved a mighty 455 bhp, a significant 80 bhp increase. This was the last of the classic Countach shapes before the unpopular restyling of the Anniversary edition.
This spectacular Countach is finished in Nero paint with hand stitched black leather interior. Offered for sale from my private collection,29311 miles from new, powered by the iconic 5.2L V12 engine, rear wheel drive, popular5-speed Manual gated shifter, new tires, new custom floor mats, front and rear euro conversion, comes with large binder and a ton of receipts including the 30K major service performed by well- known Evans Automotive.
This 30K major service was performed at 29151 miles, just 160 miles from current odometer reading. In addition to this major service, the car underwent a full engine- out service. Services included new oil lines with Stainless Steel braids, new oil cooler, new front/rear differential fluid, new transmission fluid, new engine oil, new brake fluid, new clutch fluid, disassemble and clean and paint intake manifold and reassemble, clean and detail engine bay and accessories, recharge AC system, new clutch slave cylinder and hoses, new clutch, new starter solenoid, comp. MSD conversion, valve adjustment and new gaskets, new spark plugs, complete engine restoration, restore suspension including new springs, shocks, bushings, new upper/lower ball joints, new wheel bearings, new battery and much more. ($47,152).
Other additions included new correct OEM factory steering wheel, new OEM factory shift knob, new led bulbs installed in dash, new spare tire, restored tools, installed rear euro conversion kit that included removal of rear bumpers and rear factory panel, restored and painted front and rear OEM wheels gold with correct OEM caps. detailed interior, custom floor mats, I am extremely meticulous and I was not happy with condition of paint when I purchased the car years ago so I decided to have the car entirely stripped down to the fiberglass and give it the paint restoration it deserved. Photos are available prior and during paint restoration. ($50K+ for this work)
Car has clean CARFAX noting no accidents or damage. I have a copy of the CARFAX upon request. Car is a great car, ice cold ac, runs perfect, and clean title in hand. This is the first time that this car has been offered for sale since I have owned it. I am running a 7 day auction. If the car does not sell during this auction, I will be sending the car to Roy Cats at Cats Exotics until the car sells. I have had excellent results with Roy in the past. I have purchased another car and simply need the garage space.
