Here is a rare, one family owned 1980 Jeep CJ5 4x4 equipped with a factory 4 cylinder, 151 motor and a 4 speed manual transmission! Only 98k original miles, many of which have been towed!
This is a Nevada vehicle since new, no rust! This Jeep is all stock and original, no major damage, please see pictures. The original Saxton Yellow paint still shines and looks great, awesome patina! The paint is all original, please see pictures. This CJ was used for camping and fishing trips by mature owners. The Jeep was never abused, never involved in any accidents and not used as a work vehicle, off road or for four wheeling and garaged when not used! The tow bar as well as the black Best Top soft top shown in the pictures are included in the sale.
The interior is in great shape.The front seats are original and the drivers has rips, splits under the cover. The passenger and rear seat are still in great shape. The dash pad is original and free of cracks or splits. The original carpet kit is still in good shape as well, please see pictures. All of the gauges work great! The windshield is in good shape. The odometer reads 98k, and this is the true mileage.The Jeep will come with it's original window sticker listing all options, owners manuals, keys as well as the original jack and wheel wrench mounted on the inside fender!
The engine starts rightupand runs great. Just serviced with fresh motor oil&filter, new fuel&air filters installed, new sparkplugs, wires, cap&rotor,as well as fresh fluid in both differentials and transfer case. The transmission shifts very smooth, just serviced as well with fresh fluid. There are no leaks! Also, in the past couple of years the Jeep had a new carburetor installed as well as a water pump, brake master cylinder, clutch slave cylinder, fuel tank, fuel pump and muffler. All of the smog equipment is intact and the Jeep passes Nevada smog without a problem. The tires are still in good shape and mounted on factory steel wheels.
