Here is a rare, two owner 1983 Jeep CJ7 4x4 equipped with the factory 4.2L 6 cylinder motor and a 5 speed manual transmission.
This is a California vehicle since new,passed California smog and iscurrently licensed, no rust! This Jeep is all stock and original, no dents or damage, the original paint still shinesand looks great aside for a few small dull spots, please see pictures.There is no rust on the floor board, please see pictures.No body work has ever been performed aside for the passengers side rear corner where the original rear tire rack got pushed into the body, this rear end happened back in 1985 when the original owner was at a stop sign, and this is the reason for the rebuilt title.The original owner loved his Jeep and bought it back from the insurance company. He dropped the Jeep of at the dealer and had the rear corner fixed, put a new heavy duty Garvin Wilderness Products rear bumper&spare tire rack on and left the shallow dent in the original rear bumper, please see pictures.The Jeep has been stored indoors since new and was never abused, not used as a work vehicle or for any serious four wheeling! This CJ will come with it's original hard doors, soft doors/half doors a full Bestop soft top, the Warn winch, as well as all original manuals, keys and window sticker, please see pictures.
The interior is in great shape.The original front seats are in great shape aside for a few tiny splits, please see pictures. The rear seat is in great shape as well, please see pictures. This CJ still has all of it's original carpet, please see pictures! The windshield is in great shape, free of chips and cracks. All of the gauges work great! The odometer reads 137k, it works and that is the original milage. The dash pad is original and is free of splits or cracks, please see pictures.
The engine starts rightupand runs perfect, all original including the carburator. Just serviced with fresh motor oil&filter, new fuel&air filters installed, new sparkplugs, cap&rotor, and fresh fluid in both differentials and transfer case. The transmission shifts very smooth, just serviced as well with fresh fluid. There are no leaks of any kind! This CJ has power steering, power brakes and tilt wheel!The tires are still in good shape and mounted on alloy wheels.
