Description:

1982 Jeep CJ

This is a great deal on a classic car for the right person. If you don't have mechanical skills then you are not the right person. Get it soon or I might change my mind and decide to keep it.
1982 Jeep CJ7 w/Plow. 258ci I-6 2bbl, 5-speed Manual Transmission, Plow, Hydraulics, Fiberglass Hard Top, Bikini Top, big tires, 4" Lift, Good Frame, hi-low idle switch (increases RPM to keep it from stalling during trail or plowing), good body mounts. 122,200 miles. Plenty of mechanical parts have been replaced over the years by professional mechanics. The plow has never been used commercially, only used for my own driveway. Listed VIN is an estimate.
Needs: Battery, fiberglass work and body work, passenger side floor, reinforce seat belts. Body is in better than normal condition for a 34 year old Jeep, but Jeeps rust, its just the way it is. The passenger side front floor is completely gone, but like most things it should be an easy repair for anyone with the right skills and tools. I'll even throw in the rust proof metal I was planning to fix the floor with.
Needs a clutch pivot body bracket repair. I can't link to it but look up eBay item number: 332027827554. I have the part, included, but lack the skills to attach it. If you don't fix this linkage on site then plan to bring a flatbed or remove the plow.
It ran to where it is parked one-year ago. It has been parked since the clutch bracket broke and I lack the skills and time to reattach it. I just fixed my one-year old lawnmower carburetor so I'm sure the gas is bad and the carburetor is clogged with dried ethanol and will need a good cleaning before it will start. Plus a battery of course. Expect to flatbed it.
I live in Pleasantville, NY but the Jeep is in North Adams, MA. Makes it complicated to sell since I'm not local. Just head up Notch Rd or Reservoir Rd and look for the signs to Mount Greylock. Last house on left.
Starting bid including plow less than half the value found on the caaarguide website.
