1969 International Harvester Scout

Hello, for sale is my 1969 International Scout800A. The Scout runs and drives great. It's been completely gone through mechanically and is ready for the Beach, Hunting, Camping or just going to get groceries. It was a complete frame off restoration in 2011. It has its numbers matching 304 V-8 motor which is very healthy, with perfect compression. The difference between the V-8 and 4-cylinder motor in these trucks is day and night. The V-8 power in this truck is far more desirable. The truck has a 4-speed Transmission which is also numbers matching and completely sound, shifts nice and smooth. Axles are Dana 30 front and Dana 44 Rear, manual locking hubs up front. Rare dual stick 4x4 running gear also works just fine. The brakes are new, with new master cylinder and rear wheel cylinders. It has a nice Holley Carb, with a manual choke which warms up quickly.It has its factory correct 15" steel wheels with chrome hubcaps including the spare. It is equipped with power steering which makes driving a breeze. The interior is in great shape, front & rear seats and door panels in black vinyl (Door panels are not pictured in some of the photos but they will be included and are in excellent shape). The weatherstripping on the front doors,window sealsand window felts are in excellent condition. Both of the 10.5 gal. gas tanks are in great shape and work as they should. This is a once in a lifetime Scout. It's absolutely beautiful and immaculate.Most importantly it's a California rust free truck and has been maintained its entire life. More people are starting to understand just how cool these Scouts are. V8 Scouts in this condition are all but extinct. To my knowledge over the past year there's been less than ten Scout 800's with V-8 motors sold here on eBay- none of which have been in this condition.
