This is an very rare AZ rust free short bed GMC Pickup- I bought this years back from the old man who was a long time owner that had it completely restored to take to car shows and it also comes with the original owners manual. This truck has every factory option available as was offered in 1972 plus custom options ordered and installed by dealer back then upon purchase- You will not find a truck like this anywhere- Has ALL factory rare options with extra options including Blue Canadian glass and even the dash is unmolested with original radio, rare factory gauge package, glove box and so on.Because of its originality and great existing shape of the truck he decided to completely go thru truck in 2003 - "everything”- Interior/ exterior running gear, drive train, differential all of it. Truck is like brand new... Has only 1700 miles on truck since complete restoration because just like the old man I got it from I only go to car shows in it and have not put many miles on it. I was told truck only had 113,000 original miles on truck before complete restoration.
Original factory 402 engine was rebuilt - bore was pristine, added factory upgraded hydraulic camshaft, runs excellent even has all original engine components as it came from factory including carb - oil on dipstick is as clear as honey- see enclosed pictures.(Original owner installed some basic chrome accessories as you can see in pics but most all of truck under hood is all original and not tampered with ). Transmission upgraded at that time to a 700r4 overdrive automatic, why? Owner wanted better gas mileage and to be able to cruise easily down road at 70mph all day long which is exactly what it does - so no problem going to any car show no matter how far you want to go.Truck has won car shows. Paint and Body done in 2003 - 17 years later I list it as a 8.5 - Will still win shows and gets a lot of attention going down the road . Rides nice with custom tires and wheels (which by the way I have original rims and beauty rings that will go with truck to new owner if you want to install them) It has never been in the rain or snow, always parked inside shop. It is in immaculate show condition underneath - No Leaks.
