VERY RARE!!! 1983 GMC 4WD 4X4 FACTORY 6.2L DIESEL!!!

Once again, 'm selling for a friend - owned by a professional auto mechanic - she may not be too pretty but mechanically she's sound! This is an awesome and rare truck!

Convertible - this has the removable top! It runs great and gets good mileage, 0mph+. (There are some reflection spots in some of the photos)

3:73 Posi Traction Rear end, nbsp;Automatic Transmission with Over Drive, AC, S, ydro Boost Power Brakes, nbsp;Electric rear window factory option, nbsp;Warn Locking Hubs, nbsp;Blaupunkt Cassette Stereo with Concord Amp.

Approx 100,000 miles on Dealer installed Crate motor. Odometer reads 74,002 - so I believe it's 174,002. Complete Transmission overhaul with approx. 2000 miles. Shifts great. New front and rear brake pads and brake shoes with front wheel bearing repack. Brakes great. Tires have approx. 2000 miles on them but they are about 10 years old. Enkei aluminum wheels! 2 new batteries. Good drive train.

Fun 4wd hard to get stuck! Keep in mind this Jimmy has been
non-oped for 10 years and my friend has been the owner for 25 years. It gets over
20 mpg on the fwy. Great vehicle to restore. The headliner is falling down and interior needs work. Include spare tire and trailer hitch.
Removable top does not leak. front and rear windows are cracked. rear window is electric (that was an option). There is bondo on the front left fender from a minor brush with a fawn. Could use paint and interior work– although the back seat has been folded and is in really nice shape. Could use A/C work and detailing.
