I bought this as a project 3 years ago with the plans to convert it to 4x4,but have lost interest in it..I put the motor in it and fixed several deferred maintenance items..But longest drive I took was only 85 miles each way to pick up a load of parts..Rest of the driving was just local..It's been started and moved around,but not driven much for the past 1 1/2 years..I just used for parts storage..Though this truck has never had a tow hitch,it comes with correct Reese trailer hitch that mounts to the underside and in place of the bumper brackets..The bumper then mounts to the hitch..Rear Gears are 3.73 heavy duty rear end..
Parts/repairs done mostly 3 years ago: New Battery; Walker CalCat Catalytic Converter- Muffler-Tail Pipe; Monroe Gas-Magnum Shock Absorbers (all 4 corners); Rebuilt Front Brake Rotors,New Pads,Turned Rotors; Rear Brakes Just Cleaned Up and New Wheel Cylinders installed and New Axle Seals; All 3 New Rubber Brake Lines and rebuilt Master Cylinder; New Fuel Pump; Plugs and Plug Wires; Upper and Lower Radiator Hoses; Motor Oil and Filter; Trans Filter and Oil; Idler Arm and One Tie Rod End; New Windshield and window Seal..
Known issues: Tires look great,only have about 400-500 miles,but are old and have flat spots from sitting..At slow speeds you can feel the thump-thump,but goes away at higher speeds; Oil Gauge is non-opp,tried another oil pressure sending unit,still non-opp; Temp and battery gauges are OK; No Radio; Hard starting after sitting more than a week,my guess is the carb accelerator pump is dry,so due for a carb rebuild..Originally this had crank/roll up door windows,previous owner swapped out the doors for doors with power windows,but no power is hooked up,so the windows do not go down..Seats need to be re-covered..Some extra interior trim and door panels loose in the cargo area..Minor rust was Professionally cut/welded above the windshield before the new windshield was installed..The rest of the body is pretty rust free..Roof paint was thin,and has surface rust(not rust through)..This has been a So. Calif. truck since new..Has a pair of the old yellow on blue Cali License Plates..
Including the original purchase of the van and all the parts,I'm in it for about $3,300.00..Asking $1,800.00 or offer..
