GMC Custom Stepside Truck with a tandem axle

1966 GMC Other Stepside

This is a radically customized GMC truck that has a Tag Axle behind the drive axle. It has disc brakes on the front, drum on drive axle and Positive Trac rearend (364 Gear). Turbo 350 Tranny that shifts as it supposed to and runs very good. Engine starts everytime and has new Carb. Has a chopping cam that sounds very good. Far from perfect truck but we drive it at least twice week with no problems. Body rust in rockers, cab corners, bottom of doors and a few spots on lower edge of hood. The hood is easily fixed but rockers and cab corners need cut out and replaced to make show quality. I have the new rockers and cab corners that go to the new owner. Drive this home..You SHOULD know that with this gear and trans setup, the rpms are higher than normal so long highway driving over 60 mph not advised but up to you. I would drive it anywhere but only 60 or under due to high RPMS at that speed. (About 3200 at 60MPH). Inspect this before buying. New interior and all 6 New Tires with new ball joints and shocks.
