1967 Ford Model K

Very rare in the US. 1967 Ford Transit MK1 with the Essex V4 gasoline 1.7 liter engine and 4 speed transmissionbuilt in the UK with only 20527 original kilometers.Drivetrain also found in the SAAB Sonnet of the same era.Ford produced them for the German fire departments. Runs and drives good. I have not driven any extended distance just around town. Changed oil and filter, replaced air filter and had carburetor rebuilt 2 months ago. Replaced battery last month. Tires are practically brand new. Dual rear wheels. Brakes work well. All electrical works as designed including beacon light and siren. 12 volt electrical system.

Body is in pretty good condition considering the age and still has all original paint and door logos. I took close up picture of the rust spot in in passenger lower front fender area. there is surface rust in other areas and has been touched up by the fire fighters over the years but over is very good usablecondition. Full body length roof rack. Glass is all original and in excellent condition. Rear hatch is large and makes it very easy to load.

Interior seats are in good usable condition. Front floor mat and front headlineris in great condition. Bench seat in rear.

I was going to swap in a 3.5 eco boost engine but have too many other projects going so this one needs to go.
