I am selling my 51 ford F1 truck that I built myself on a tv show that aired last November on the history channel “truck week in america” show was called truck hunters.
I own a professional hotrod shop in Los angeles, where this truck was built.
Started with a nice 51 truck and a 2004 Ford Explorer frame
I cut the truck including bed in half, added 8" to the body. this gave me perfect clearance to make the frame fit and look factory.
Airlift performance air struts with an Airlift Performance V3 management system. 5 gallon spun aluminum air tank dual air compressors
Custom made lexani wheels, Toyo R888R 325 30 20 back and 315 30 20 front

Engine is a 429 made to a 440ci, using forged pistons and rods. Big cam with roller rockers, ford Dove heads redone with top end parts. Engine and C6 transmission are also fresh, I have exact engine specs if someone is interested you can call me.
Custom 3" X pipe mandrel bent exhaust all the way. Big tube headers

Independent front and rear suspension, rides like a race car and comfort as a ford explorer
Dakota digital gauges
All glass, felts, door channels etc. are new

You will not find a truck of this quality and style anywhere.
This truck has great sentimental value to me, as my family were on the show and my daughter was born during the build of this truck.
My plan was to keep the truck forever, but I will be out of a garage for the next 2 years and keeping the truck in storage is not an option.
