1979 Ford Bronco Ranger XLT

Arizona Truck - 4x4 - Ranger XLT - Two-Tone Paint - Tasteful Lift (Please note: If you happen to be viewing this vehicle on a website other than our main website, it's possible that only some of our many photographs of this car are presented due to website limitations. Ford built the Second generation Bronco based on a F100 pickup truck chassis with Dana differentials and 4x4 capability.  Bronco's were tough, handle any terrain vehicles. Ford advertised them as "America's Truck", "Free Wheelin Fords", and challenged consumers to "Compare it to any 4-Wheeler anywhere."  Broncos of this age are quickly gaining popularity in the marketplace right now. This particular Bronco was originally an Arizona truck and benefitted from a new paint job in the original color combination about 19 years ago.  Being from out west, this truck is solid from top to bottom - clean floorpans, solid frame, and solid body panels. Trim, lights, and bumpers are all in great condition. Under the hood is a 400ci V8 engine mated to a 3 speed column shifted Automatic.  The original engine has benefitted from a rebuild by a local machine shop. It breathes a little easier thanks to aftermarket headers.  Power disc brakes front, and power drum rear are hidden behind some very shiny aftermarket wheels and 35" tires.  A Dana front differential and Ford 9" rear differential containing 3:51 gears are found in between the wheels. The truck has been lifted a few inches which gives an aggressive look, and better ground clearance...if you ever decided to do any offroading. The interior is very original and in very good condition.  Front bucket seats with patterned inserts give you a birds eye view of the road or trail, and your passengers will be comfortable in the roomy back seat.  There's also plenty of cargo space to haul all your gear for weekend trips. Don't miss your chance to get behind the wheel of an Iconic Ford Truck, ready for some "Ford Freewheelin." Be sure to check out all the photos and video on our main website: Garage Kept Motors.
