[isdntekvideo] This is a "D" bird. Originally a 312 / 245hp Fordomatic car without power steering or power brakes. It is the correct Starmist Blue and Colonial White per the dealer invoice and data plate. A frame-on restoration was performed approximately 34 years ago and the car has been stored and pampered since. Originally a California car. The car has been in the family since 2010 and with the previous owner since the 70s. This car is not intended for a Thunderbird purest, but rather a Thunderbird owner that wants to get out and drive a hotter-than-stock while looking stock T-bird. If desired, however, all modifications could be returned to original. All modifications have been extremely well thought-out and meticulously documented. The car is a true performer and head-turner.Engine1957 312 block and "G" heads. No visible exterior rust or bubbling paint. The underside and frame are very good, see pictures. There are some rock chips and blemishes that have been touched up and some slight swirl marks in the paint. A couple dings as well but nothing major. The interior is in good shape with no rips or tears in the seat. The carpet is free from stains and in good condition. Signs of wear are evident on the steering wheel and door panels. The driver's side window regulator should be replaced as the window is very difficult to roll up. Occasionally the main seal will leak oil depending on the position of the crank/driveshaft. The neoprene seal has been changed several times throughout the car's life. This is a typical oil leak common to all of the T-Birds from this era.
