 This right-hand drive GT40 was professionally built in 2000 by GT40 replica specialists, KCC in South Africa. 
Built to very high standards, KCC body shells were produced from molds taken from original GT40s and are recognized the most accurate available are used by many other manufacturers of GT40 replicas. The chassis is faithful to the original triangulated space-frame with aluminum cladding. Suspension follows the pattern of the original, being...independent all round (adjustable at the rear) Incorporating many new improvements including strengthened suspension components with vibration-free engine mounts. 
 The engine is a Ford 302ci (5.0-litre) V8. Balanced and blueprinted with a Edelbrock Intake manifold, carburetor and MSD ignition. The engine specification includes ported cylinder heads, long duration high-lift camshaft, high-compression pistons, and chrome-moly pushrods and guide plates along with period correct Gurney/Weslake valve covers and authentic 180-degree tuned-length exhaust system. The engine is mated to an Audi five-speed transaxle, fitted with a Quaife ATB Differential with over-sized CV joints. Shifting is handled by an updated aluminum shifter.

The period-correct center-lock wheels are lightweight three-piece Compomotive Halibrands. The brakes feature ventilated front discs and solid rears. The car is extremely quick, sure-footed, with light steering and a precise gear changes. 


This tribute to the iconic Ford GT40 is in excellent condition and commands attention from any angle.
