I am selling this Mustang for the wife (widow) of an elderly friend of mine who passed away earlier this year. I have driven the car and can answer most questions. We used to attend many car shows together (driving over 100 miles sometimes) and the Mustang won it's fair share of trophies, especially in the 'original' classes. The 25,000 miles are true miles. The car has not been restored. The car was originally purchased in New Jersey where it spent most of it's life. My friend purchased the car in Asheville, NC over 10 years ago.The car was obviously garage kept and maintained well. I witnessed this first hand, from oil changes to tires to a/c repair. The car has been idle for over a year but we did drive it last week to make sure everything was still fine, and it is. We added some fresh premium gas as well.This Mustang was amazingly well optioned with a factory competition suspension and gauge package, power steering, power brakes, a/c, all documented by a Marti report which I ordered for him many years ago. Dual exhausts were added. The new owner will get the Marti report and everything the owner had associated with this car.This must be one of the finest low mileage examples left. If it was a Mach 1 the car would be auction worthy, but we know it's not and therefore not in that price range. Inspections are welcome and encouraged. If you want a turn key show car or just one for cruise-ins, think about this one. This will be listed for a little while now, and if not sold, will be offered again in the Spring unless a family member decides they want it. Right now, they don't want it due to the usual "no place to keep it'. I am in the same boat as are my other car club members.
