Description:

1968 Ford Other

Original California Black plate car with 44.5K original miles (the pedals and steering wheel feel and look brand new). Recent paint. There are a couple of small tears in door panel, and the dash has the requisite sun cracks, but otherwise interior is clean. New Headliner and carpet. Original seats, doors, etc. All windows power including rear tailgate. Magic tailgate - opens like a door and a truck bed! 10 seater - rear rumble seats (in the pic one looks distressed, but it is just because it had been closed on seat belt - it's perfect). Shoulder straps have been added in back seat - came with shoulder straps in front. Power steering, brakes (disc). I bought this car from the second owner who said he bought it in '74 and basically I just repainted it and put the carpet/headliner in. It runs excellently, starts on the first crank. It has a salvage title - the guy I bought it from explained to me that this was because the car was stolen and recovered after 30 days. It has never had an accident. I have photos of me with the car when I bought it - in it's original paint - no dents. There was some rust in the rain gutter on the driver side - I had it cut out and replaced when it was painted. The paint had faded considerably and there was very light corrosion - but this car has lived its whole life in California - no cancer on the underbelly. I can provide pics of all the above. The Antenna is broken but a replacement is included (I haven't installed because my car cover doesn't accommodate for it). Factory Air, but needs servicing. There is some pitting on chrome pieces - door handles, roof rack. Stainless is all good. 390 Big Block - this car moves. Tons of power. Eats the freeway up. This is a great daily driver. It's not a perfect car, but a very nice, solid driver that looks stunning. Most heads I've ever turned with a car. Let me know any other questions you have. Thanks!
