I am offering for sale my 1928 Ford Model A Roadster Convertible Pickup. Full body frame off Restoration 10 years ago. Always garage kept. Body is mint condition, never rusted --- or any body filler; very original. Lacquer paint job still VG overall. Built in San Francisco #SFA213. Good tires; lights, horn, gas gauge, dash light, etc. - all controls work.
Interior fully restored (see pictures). Engine is a1930, w/ new rebuilt Zenith 2 jet carburetor (I also have original 2 jet Zenith carb. which is also still functioning). All fluids changed this summer. Starts right up, idle a bit rough at low rpm. - (see video), but strong engine. Shifts smoothly. Front end tight. New oak bed w all new chromed bolts (I have all older bolts saved if you want them). Odometer reads 92k. To see a YouTubevideo - right clickhere and open in new tab.
I have only driven this truck 50 +/- miles over past 5 years.Gas tank clean. Fuel lines w new sediment filter + 2 fuel filters to engine. Frame and body mint. Never any rust on body or frame.Tires all good. Have spare hub.Undercarriage exceptionally clean. Looks to be original -(see pics). Convertible top replaced when restored, -good condition. These roadster convertible pickups are highly sought after and thistruck a head turner, with the classic green and black colors. I am selling it - as I rarely use it ....and now have 2 kids in college.
No warranties express or implied. This truck is not perfect, but I have seen Model A Pickup Roadsters win competitions that were not nearly as nice or original looking as this one! I have described honestly and accurately to the best of my ability. Good luck bidding! Feel free to ask any questions.
Finally, please do not bid --unless you are serious about owning this Model A Roadster Pickup- as this is a no reserve auction and will be sold to the highest bidder. I am starting the bidding and will sell this at averyreasonable price for this vehicle. It is a hassle to list an item only to have the 'buyer' disappear after they have 'bought' it. If you have less than 10 feedbacks or a low feedback score, your bid may be cancelled, so please contact me if you want to bid. Thanks for understanding.
Message any questions, or contact me at (434) 265 3671. Shipping is your responsibility but I can help with arrangements. I can store here in my garage as needed for a reasonable time.
