This is a highly sought after Mustang Mach 1. It features its original and very rare color combination of Wimbledon White Exterior and Vermilion RedInterior. In addition, it features the #'s matching Q Code engine. If you know anything about '71-'73 Mustangs you will know that besides the 429 and Boss engines of this era the Q code is very desirable. The Marti report is available. The original (not a reproduction) door data tag is still affixed to the Driver Side Door. I went through great lengths to make sure this was preserved.
I bought it from the family of the original owner 8 years ago. When I purchased the car, it had it's original paint. It was at this time I verified personally the serial # on the block (located below the head on the passenger side). It also features the C-6 transmission. I never checked it, but it appears to be the original one. It also is a very low mileage vehicle. It has ~63K miles. I even have a picture of the original owner next to it when he first bought it. I also have several photos of it when I first purchased it as well. The A/C and Rim Blow Horn do not work.

During my refresh of this vehicle I had it repainted. I also verified the vin #'s on the inner fender aprons (located under the fenders). In addition to the repaint, the interior was redone. This included new carpet, door panels, rear door panels, restored clock (yes it works), and dash pad. One very cool feature is it retains it's original seats. The previous owner kept them covered during his stewardship of it. I also added the Magnum 500's to it. It did not have the blackout treatment on the hood when I purchased it so I left it this way.
Mechanically, it was not restored due to the low mileage of it. The Motorcraft carb. was upgraded to a Holley for convenience. The exhaust system was also recently replaced. It even had the original mufflers on it! The exhaust system consists of some mellow sounding turbo mufflers. It has also been upgraded to petronix. The engine compartment could use some refreshing if you want to take it to the next level. It does have a few leaks (and if anyone tells you theirs doesn't leak, I would be suspect as they all leak!).
Options, did I mention anything about the options? This is what makes this one so unique. It had nearly every option on it. The list is unbelievable. I can't say I have seen one as lengthy as this one. There are over 22 options on this Mustang including some very rare ones. The rarest of them being the power windows, tilt steering wheel, and rear defrost. In fact, Mustang aficionados of this era realize this is the only way you can get the rear windows to go down. There were only about 2-3% of Mustangs during 71-73 with power windows (only 1,410 in 72). I also am in possession of the original buck tag. I removed it as I did not want it to get lost as these often do.
