1941 FORD COUPE CHOPPED KUSTOM

Highlights:

Built over 40 years ago, Corvette 327ci (350hp) Muncie 4 speed, Paint recreated by Steve's Auto restoration (2017 Riddler award winner).

Body:

Top is chopped 4”, nosed and decked, frenched in head lights, Cadillac tail lights and license plate, and dual Appleton style spotlights,40 Ford bumpers. Metallic maroon paint with period correctyellow flames and pinstriping. About 15 years ago Steve's Auto Restoration was commissioned to strip the paint and hammer weld the seams and recreate the paint, flames and pinstriping exactly as it was 40 plus years ago.

Suspension:

Has dropped axle up front connected to a stock wishbone, at the rear is a 57 chev 10 bolt non posi rear end with parallel leaf springs and traction bars. Manual drum brakes and steering. Has new steel wheels and new Coker Classic bias ply tires.

Motor and Transmission:

1967 Corvette 327, 350 horse motor with same year bell housing and Muncie 4 speed with a Hurst shifter. Motor has a new Edelbrock intake manifold, carburetor, distributor, plugs and wires.

Interior:

The interior is done in the early 60's style with tan roll and pleat and matching loop carpet. Early style custom dash with Stewart Warner gauges, a 1963 Buick steering wheel, AM/FM radio with a cassette player, heater, defroster and air conditioning.

Defects:

The paint has a few rock chips that have been touched up, hair line crack on both sides of the frenched license plate (see pictures), and 2 paint bubbles (so small/faint the pictures don't show them) on both sides just above the belt line at the rear quarter panel where the roof meets it. The water temp gauge is not accurate, tack does not work, AC needs charged.

This is a excellent running and driving kustom, that based on how long ago this car was built, looking at the condition inside and out and how well it runs and drives it's apparent the builder is very skilled and knew what they were doing. Will only grow in value. Any questions or picture request contact me through ebay or call Cris @971-227-5248 8am to 9 pm PST
