Description:

1977 Ford F-250

1977.5 F250 Crew Cab 4x4 460 gas motor. These old crew cabs are hard to find in good condition and this truck is solid and nice. Runs and drives well. The truck was redone/restored about 8 years 13,000 miles ago. I purchased it from the guy who built it and most of the info I have on the truck is from him. He lived in Wyoming and as far as I know the truck came from out west. The body, frame, and metal is great (no rust issues). I've noticed a small spot on the lower part of the drivers door smaller than the size of a dime that is bubbled. The negative - paint is a single stage that isn't the "best" or "show truck" quality. It's ok but if I keep it I plan on painting it in the next 2-4 years. I ordered a classic style but modern safety seat belts and installed them but I have the older ones as well. The rear seat belts were added during the restoration/build. The truck is solid, strong, and I was told it was producing approx. 450hp and 500ft/lbs of torque. I don't have a dyno sheet on that but have no reason to doubt it. With the fuel injection I average 11.5-12MPG but you can get 13MPG. The 5th gear in the NV4500 helps drop the RPM's when running 80 on the interstate. This truck is my daily driver so milage will change and it is for sale locally so the auction is subject to end early. Actual milage is unknown. *** I will be out of pocket the week of the 14th but we can work out pick up if you are out of town or have a shipping company pick the truck up. Payment accepted in cash or certified funds such as a cashiers check. Title provided when bank says funds are clear or when cash is in hand. Engine - built on a Ford 460 block (502 cubic inches) -Stroke is 4.150 ( Eagle cast steel crank) - Bore is 4.390 (.030 over stock) - H-beam rods (BBC rod journal size) -bottom end all hi-performance bearings -gear reduction starter Transmission is an NV4500 from about a 1997 3500 HD -New Centerforce billet flywheel -Clutch is a "cyclone" (ceramic puck one side friction disc the other) -new bearings/seals -new synchronizers -upgraded tailshaft nut -used a bell housing off of Ford 400M (same bolt patterns just shallower) with adapter plate from Advanced Adapters to bolt up trans to engine -NV4500 uses special gear oil. Of course new oil at rebuild. Oil is supposed to be "lifetime" Transfer case is NP205 -all new bearings/seals -regular 80/90 gear oil Front end -Ford "Hi-pinion" Dana 60 (I believe from a 1979 f-350) -cross-over steering upgrade -Eaton E-locker differential (electric locker) . -upgraded adjustable kingpins (camber adjustment) -SS braided brake lines -new seals, bearings, brake pads, rotors and u-joints (reman calipers) -regular 80/90 gear oil -4/11 gear ratio Rear end -Ford Dana 60 -new bearings, seals, brake shoes and drums (reman wheel cylinders) -80/90 gear oil -4/11 gear ratio Steering box -rebuild from "Redhead Steering Gear" Air Conditioning -charged with R-12 refrigerant -new compressor oil -new dryer (Installed LED light in dash to indicate when A/C is on)
