Description:

1962 Ford Falcon

Bids from buyers with no or bad feedback will be cancelled. Learned my lesson from previous bidder. Deposit of $250 due within 24 hours of auction end. 7 days to pay in full. You will have 30 days to arrange pickup of the car.

The car is not perfect by any means. It was being set up as a daily driver not a show car.It has been a labor of love forthe past 4+ years. The car runs and runs good, transmission has been rebuilt. The engine is the 144cid and has the auto trans. (have video of it running that is only 2 weeks old, but ignition switch broke recently andit needs a new switch whichis a $20 part on ebay). The car has a new gas tank, new trans cooler, new front and rear window gaskets installed. Will come with new carpet that needs installed, new antenna in package, new cd player, new port a wall white wall inserts still in package, comes with a rear bumper (not pictured), comes with new seatbelts still in package, new heater/defrost diverter box, custom made seat covers (leopard print like the Elvira Macabre mobile), death proof duck hood orniment, new grantsteering wheel (not pictured, still needs adapter), newcnc machinedaluminum knobs to replace the old bakelite ones on dash, comes with new window fuzzies in the box, new door seals still in the package, decent grill (had to find one because original was in bad shape), new trunk seal still in the package, new windlace in package. Car has new exhaust system. Decent tires (little bit of overspray that needs cleaned) all 4 original hub caps. New black vinyl headliner that was installed while the glass was out of the car. have a set of NOS taillights in the boxes (not pictured). Rear quarters were patched using contoured panels, the actual panels used are shown in the pictures. Rear taillights have new gaskets and pads behind the aluminum housings. Rebuilt fuel pump that also operates the vacuum wipers. There is probably a bunch I am missing. The front bumper was not in good shape and was tossed (look at last picture to see why). Have not gotten a replacement yet but they make aftermarket or can probably get one from the falcon farm in Concord, NC. The door panels need recovered to do away with the ugly fabric. I was going to wrap in black vinyl. (door panls are flat so are easy to cover). Needs a new ignition switch as mentioned. The backing broke on my a fewweeks ago (I have a recentvideo of the car running to prove it runs and runs good). There were some small rust holes in the floor board but has been patched. (was because of bad windshield gasket which has now been replaced). Previous owner messedup a small section of the dash where the original am radio was so I purchased and will include a new cd player. The dash can be trimmed where the new player will fit andall of thebad spot will be removed in the process. With a little bit of work this car can be on the road with no problems within a few days of work. Feel free to ask questions if there is something that has not been covered. No trades. Clear SC title. Last picture shows the car as we used to drive it before we started to work on it. There are a few progress pictures as well.
