(The New Age Motorsports 1932 Ford 5 Window Coupe Body offers the utmost in quality and authenticity available on the market today. The quality of the body is apparent at first glance as all of the body lines and stock features are present. Our coupe body is completely hand laminated with 8 oz. of fiberglass matte, using Isothalic resins, while the outside is finished off in smooth black gelcoat. Parting lines are removed here before body assembly. The body is available with both stock, and recessed firewalls. The doors and trunk are assembled, swinging, and latching. Our door and trunk skins, both inside and out, retain the appearance of the original body. The doors swing on our exclusively machined T6 Aluminum hinges which replicate Henry's. They're latched using bear claw latches for a solid hold. Original crank up window hardware is included as well as the door glass. The Trunk swings on our adjustable original style, pivoting Hinges. Inside the trunk you will find an original style drain pan, as well as a drain tube, which exits to the underside of the body. The trunk latches using a hidden latch, or with our original style trunk handle and striker latch setup. All Hinges and door latches are supported by our Steel 1.5" Round Tube inner support structure. The tubing is .120 wall thickness and is welded 360 degrees at every joint. It is fabricated over 8 feet of quarter inch plate, which anchors the body to the chassis with half inch bolts. Interior upholstery is easily applied using Poplar Hardwood, which we laminate around the door openings. We've also replicated Ford's original wood around the rear windows, which is attached to a fiberglass seating plate, which bonds to the body. A flat dash panel, header panel, and garnish molding set are included to finish off the body package.)
