We recently purchased this Thunderbird from the previous older Idaho owner and as you can tell in the pictures and video it has been his pride and joy for sure !! What a value it is at the reserve price which is set very low !! This T-Bird Convertible still retains it's correctly mounted - FACTORY ORIGINAL - driver's door mounted data / VIN plate and the - ORIGINAL - 1962 Thunderbird owner's manual, both of which are shown in pictures. This has been a NICE - DRY - SOLID Nevada - Idaho High Mountain Desert - Western car and it shows !! I drove this Thunderbird as my daily driver for the last several days and it runs and drives VERY WELL !!This T-Bird is a sweet driver in town and cruises down the freeway easily and smoothly. If you can make it to Boise, please come and take a look at and drive this BEAUTY for yourself this This is a QUALITY CLASSIC THUNDERBIRD THAT IS READY TO DRIVE, SHOW AND ENJOY !!At the heart of this Thunderbird is what appears to be the VERY STRONG !! - REBUILT - FACTORY ORIGINAL - Code "Z" - 390 CID V8 motor that is running very well. The motor also sports the ORIGINAL four barrel intake manifold, ORIGINAL exhaust manifolds, Aluminum valve covers, Chrome air cleaner housing and a Holley 4 barrel carburetor with electric choke !! Sounds GREAT too with the "THROATY" factory style true dual exhaust system with dual chrome tips. The engine is backed by a SMOOTH - Code "4" - three speed "Cruise-O-Matic" automatic transmission which also functions very well. The BEAUTIFUL !! - Tan and Medium Chestnut Cloth and Vinyl bucket seat interior is in VERY NICE condition with NICE Tan Cloth front bucket seats, NICE Chestnut Maroon carpets, NICE ORIGINAL Matching Chestnut Maroon Vinyl door panels, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Factory gauge clusters, NICE ORIGINAL Thunderbird steering wheel, NICE ORIGINAL Chestnut Maroon Vinyl sun visors and a VERY NICE Chestnut Maroon Vinyl dash pad with NO CRACKS !! All of the ORIGINAL black rubber weatherstripping is soft, supple and in good condition for being original. The GORGEOUS !! - Code "V" - Chestnut Maroon Metallic exterior finish is EYE POPPING BEAUTIFUL and is bright and shiny and looks STUNNING as you can clearly see in the VIDEO & 100+ ADDITIONAL PICTURES !! This T-Bird comes nicely equipped including factory power steering, power brakes with discs up front, factory power windows, factory front wing windows, factory "swing-away" steering wheel, working factory power "hide-away" convertible top, original dual chrome side view mirrors, working factory 4-way power driver's seat, factory power wipers, original style Thunderbird floor mats, factory gauge clusters with 120 MPH speedometer, original clock which is no longer working, JVC digital AM / FM / AUX / CD Player stereo radio, factory fender skirts and factory back up lights. This Thunderbird Convertible has GORGEOUS looks and AWESOME 390 V8 power as well ! There are not many of these left on the roads for sure ! The suspension and drive line seem to be in good working order as well as the electrical system. Check out the AWESOME - CUSTOM Chrome "Baby Moon" wheels wrapped in NEARLY NEW whitewall steel belted radial tires, they look OUTSTANDING on this Thunderbird and really retains that CLEAN "Custom" - look !! All of the ORIGINAL Chrome and Stainless Steel exterior body trim and moldings are in VERY NICE condition including NICE ORIGINAL Chrome front and rear bumpers, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Badging and VERY NICE ORIGINAL grill and chrome headlight surrounds. The CLEAN - SOLID rear cargo area also sports the ORIGINAL liner and a full size whitewall spare tire. All of the ORIGINAL light lenses and reflectors are also clear, bright and BEAUTIFUL !!
