1966 Ford Mustang convertible

You know the difference you feel with a really solid, never abused car? This is that car. The doors, hood, and trunk all move smoothly and close with a very solid "thump" with no rattles. It's beenownedby my family since 1979,so we know most of its history. Two videos are linked below with cranking the engine and then a walkaround.
This is a very original car with few aftermarket or reproduction parts. The body, trim, and interior are all original to the car with no floor, cowl, or frame rust or patched panels. Originally equipped with aC-code 289 and 4-speed Toploader, the engine was rebuiltin the mid-1980's and features 10.5:1 compression, hardened valve seats, original Shelby Cobra intake and valve covers, a Holley 600 cfm 4-barrel carb, and a Pertronix electronic ignition in the original distributor. It has has a very snappy, quick crank and is very responsive to the throttle. It sounds throaty, but not loud through the GT style exhaust with turbo mufflers and resonators.
It was driven very infrequentlyover the years, never in rain, always garaged, andhas been in dry storage inside an inflatable car capsule for the past 10 years. It is an original Candyapple Red car that has been repainted once right after it was purchased and still retains its original red Pony interior. The paint shows very well in pics and the car gets lots of compliments, but there are lots of flaws from age. The frontvalence has some peeling from poor adhesion, and there is one small dent at the bottom of thedriver side quarter panel that is visible in the pics. I'd consider it good driver quality paint. This would be an easy one to make perfect if you want to get fresh paint. Also, the power top works smoothly.
This is an A/C equipped car, and it did function well, but the unit was removed to be rebuilt and upgraded to r134a when the hoses started leaking. The unit is in excellentcondition and comes with the car (see pics), but is not currently installed. The original horn ring also needs to be reinstalled.
Despite having been in storage for so long, it does crank but needs work to be drivable again (flush fluids and brakes, tune up, etc). Here is a recent crank video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CV3DmdtL2ssHere is a walkaround with opening/closing doors:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=si5HXUZhCvY
Please reach out with any questions you have. The car is available for inspection in Pensacola, Florida for serious buyers.
