It's not a secret how difficult it is to find a 1966 Ford F100 with an automatic tranny shifted on the column.It is even more difficult to find one in this sheet metal condition.
This F100 is amazing.
Originally a California truck with a fantastic body and undercarriage.The truck was frame off restored around 5 years ago.There is no visible rust underneath; cab corners; drip rails or anywhere else.I did a magnet check and the magnet sticks anywhere like glue.
At the time at the restoration the builder decided to go with a newer 460ci EFI engine.The F100 has so much power!!!It starts on the first turn key and if you step on the gas pedal you will find black rubber on the street behind you.Power; power; power -- oh yes more POWER!!!
The whole idea was to build an daily driver truck that turns heads and this F100 turns heads for sure.I took it for a ride to get gas recently. Many people gave me thumbs up and asked if they can take photos of the F100.
I still can see the smiles on their faces when I started this monster and this amazing BIG BLOCK V8 blubber sound was louder than anything else.
The paint is driver quality - not the best but who cares about paint on a truck like this...
I am doing the classic cars for over 10 years now and I will tell you that you probably not find a better body/undercarriage than this one.
