Up for sale is a highly optioned high performance Deluxe A Code 65 Ford Mustang Convertible restoration project with a clean mileage exempt title in my name. This rare Mustang originally came with a 289 c.i. 4v barrel V8 and a 4 speed manual top loader transmission. This car also came with black Luxury Pony Interior which includes a rare factory 140mph round speedo still in the car. This car was originally Springtime Yellow and came from the factory with a power top, Power steering, tinted windshield which is all still in the car in good original condition. This car comes with many original parts that are pictured with the car including original windshield, all door glass, chrome trim and wing windows, original grille all in good shape considering the cars age. The car has solid rockers, shock towers and frame, trunk and hood are in good condition and not rusted out. The car obviously needs a lot of rust repair but it is only sheet metal and not structural rust damage. The original doors and fenders can be repaired and saved with some rust repair patching in the corners that have damage (Pictured). The top of the quarter panels are solid but the bottom of the quarters are rusted out could be repaired or have the whole quarter panel replaced. The floor and trunk pan need a full replacement, the rear is currently held in by a wooden support for easier loading on and off a trailer since leaf spring mounts are rusted out on trunk pan. I am including an extra set of leaf springs and other misc. parts pictured with the car, I have some doubles. I was told by previous owner the transmission and rear still in the car are original to the car and according to my research they have the correct casting numbers in the correct location.Transmission casting number upper driver side isC5AR-7008-D W 1 from what i can see. The Transmission includes a 3 speed top loadershifterthat will need to be replaced with a 4 speed top loader shifter. The original motor is no longer with the car but I do have a 289 c.i. V8 from a 67 Mustang that is included with the car. I'm sure I'm missing a few details as far as parts included but what is seen in pictures is what is going with the car.
