Up for sale for the first time is a beautiful correct 1929 Ford Model A Fordor Blindback sedan model 170-A. I got this car from the family of a good fellow club member who had owned this car for over 40 years so it only had a few owners since new. This man was a very fussy Model A guy who had done a complete body off restoration some years ago from a very fine rust free car. The car today is in wonderful condition throughout and looks and drives great. The original numbers matching motor was completely rebuilt and only has test miles and is ready for the next tour. The car even has the original brass Briggs body tag riveted to the passenger side sill area, (see photo). The paint in the original factory colors is in beautiful condition and looks as good, or even better than the pictures you see here and will not disappoint. The correct LeBaron Bonney interior is also stunning. The body on this car is strait as an arrow with no waves or signs of body work or rust. The plating throughout is also great with no flaws. All the glass is great and the white wall tires are all in beautiful condition with many miles to go. The wheels on this car are also in very fine condition with no damage and the paint finish is like new as is the body. The undercarriage and motor is clean and very tidy as you can see in the pictures. This is not your average older restoration by any means but is a strong correct example in and out that can be shown at a nice show or toured with pride. A long term ownership, newly rebuilt motor, a correct beautiful car that was not out in a field or pieced together from an all original steel car. This car is priced to sell below market and someone is going to get a great car for a great price so don’t miss this one.
