This is a very rare find. A 1985 Ford Thunderbird 30th Anniversary with only 4,230 original miles. It is definitely a time capsule. With only one owner it has been stored inside since new. It was Ziebarted when new and there is absolutely no rust. It is still on the original tires which although a bit flat spotted are original. It still has all the extras that originally came with the car including the books, Protecto Plate, floormats (still in a box in the trunk), matching Members Only leather jacket, original uncut key blanks, key chain, etc. The belts, hoses, hose clamps, etc. are still the original as well. It has received a new battery and a fresh oil change, using the correct Motorcraft oil filter so as not to change the originality.
The paint is excellent and the inside looks like it wasn't sat in. It is incredible both inside and out. The 5.0 V8 starts immediately and runs exactly as it should. The transmission shifts perfectly. There are no excuses whatsoever to be made for this car. The original power antenna even works as it should. The digital dash lights up as perfectly and brightly as it did when new. This car is like driving it off the showroom floor.
