1937 Ford Other Street Rod

1937 Ford All Steel Pro Street Coupe for Sale A professionally built, ALL-STEEL 1937 Ford Coupe that is a masterpiece of quality and detail work. Some of the modifications include the fitting of the Tudor sedan doors that are 6” longer than stock doors & tipping the “B” posts forward enhancing the look. The rear quarters have been lowered, custom running boards fabricated and raked forward to match the modified lower edges of the front fenders. The roof has been welded & leaded in place as well as a custom shaped rain gutter. A special rear roll pan has been fabricated. All the stock body sheet metal has been carefully straightened by spot heating & quenching resulting in arrow straight panels & minimum filler, (lead, no Bondo). Not a single detail has been overlooked. With plenty of power, the engine was designed to run on pump gas. It has a modified 400 turbo transmission with a full Mark Williams 9” Ford rear end. The coupe has .060” wall 3” polished stainless exhaust from the headers through polished custom stainless sheet wrapped Flow master mufflers out the back of the car. The exhaust was built with both sides in an exact mirror image of each other. It features linear actuated exhaust cut outs located at the end of the header collectors. The graphics & paint scheme came from Thom Taylor who supplied concept drawings prior to the build. The coupe has a beautifully detailed gray cloth interior with inlaid graphics and wool carpets. The underside, including the chassis, as well as the exterior of the coupe is finished with House of Kolors base coat/clear coat Kandy and Pearl paints. With just over 3200 miles on the speedometer, it runs great & has been fitted with a custom built oversize Griffin radiator so it runs cool too. A full photo history of the coupe’s construction goes with the car. Also included with the car are several CAD drawings of many of the custom parts, detailed wiring diagrams, various paper work as well as many extras. (Two sets of engine side panels included). The asking price is a small fraction of what has been spent and is unrelated to the actual cost that would be required to duplicate this one of a kind national winner. The car should be seen in person to appreciate the quality of the build. This coupe was chosen as the Inaugural Street Rodder Magazine Top 10 WINNER and photos of it appear on the wall of the Darryl Starbird Custom Car Museum in Oklahoma as well as many magazine articles. The Coupe also received a prestigious Pigeon Forge Top 25 Pick among many other awards. Priced reduced to sell, this car is the real deal, there will be no disappointments, medical issues are forcing the sale.
