Next year marks the 40th anniversary of the Blues Brothers Movie! It is with a heavy heart I put my Bluesmobile replica up for sale. The 74-77 Dodge Monaco cars have almost become extinct finding one to build is a task in itself. This car started life as a clean South Carolina car 1977 Royal Monaco. I then purchased another clean 1974 Monaco for all the correct Bluesmobile parts.It now has the correct 74 Monaco*1974 complete front end sheetmetal, grille, front bumper*1974 decklid*1974 rear bumper*1974 tailights*1974 front seat*1974 monaco emblemsThis car also has the impossible to find "small zero" 1974 only 140 police speedometer!I have spent THOUSANDS on this project to make it as screen correct as possible. I hand fabricated the Pushbars myself (they are built to really PUSH) I painted the car myself and designed the Bluesmobile decal kit with all the movie correct markings & license plates (which I will have available for sale soon in my ebay store) It has the correct working brand new Unity spotlight. It has a working 8 track in the dash that only plays the Blues Brothers Movie soundtrack of course. I built the switch panel where the radio once was just like the car in the movie. The seats are freshly upholstered in the correct color (looks lighter in the photos than it actually is) the ENTIRE interior was dyed the correct color. It even has the POLICE rubber floor mat instead of carpeting. The car has a bunch of new stuff such as Battery, water pump, radiator hoses, bypass hose, fresh plugs, new wires, new cap & rotor, new horn, new PCV, fresh oil & filter, fresh gas filter, new fuel pump, ALL four tires are BRAND NEW 225/75/15 on the wider 15 x 7 police rims, new master cylinder, and I am sure I am forgetting some other stuff as well. It runs and drives good I have only been local never any long distance stuff just cruise nights and meals. It draws a crowd wherever it goes because it looks so exact. It even impresses the experts.
