Available for your consideration is a absolute perfect project. 1981 Dodge Ram 4x4 Power Wagon. This truck has been stored indoors most of its life. It has not been on the road for years. Previously owned by my son in law who passed away few years ago from Cancer. I am not sure what he did with the title and Vin Plate... After some research he never titled the truck. He purchased it from a friend of mine and without the vin plate were not certain how to replace the title & vin. This truck had a cab fire so the interior was removed including the dash. The dash was replaced with a 77 dash, in 77 the dash did not have a Vin Tag. After the fire there was a small piece of dash left with the vin tag my son in law had it but we can not find it and he passed so can't ask what happened to it? There is another dash that comes with the truck it is the right color and is a much newer dash that will work and it has a Vin. I posted the vin numbers on this auction. Again no title for that vin as well. ... The cab was completely redone. The doors & fenders are off a Ramcharger...The bed is a factory new bed from Dodge. My buddy owned this truck for years he sold it to my son in law. I asked him about checking into getting a replacement tag and title and he said he owned the truck way before the computer era and has no way of showing or proving he owned the vehicle he is gonna look for an old plate registration but again no promises and most likely won't happen, the truck has to go and I have not the time nor energy for tracking this stuff down. I have no place to store this truck. It is selling on a Bill of sale. If not using for parts and want to put on the road A Vin tag & Title will have to be acquired thru proper channels. Well worth the effort. This truck has a ton of potential. Again due to circumstances I am selling as a parts truck on a bill of sale. This truck has a rebuilt 400. This engine has been completely gone. This engine was done by a professional, this engine has a cam, all valves been redone, high volume oil pump, Weiand High rise manifold, the list goes on, this engine was rebuilt and has many new parts. Big money was spent on this completely rebuilt 1977 400 V8 Engine... The engine and drivetrain is all from a 1977 Truck.There are currently no driveshafts. My friend thinks he has driveshafts that will work and I will do my best to get them but I will not guarantee they will come with the truck. I will do my best for the buyer to obtain them. No Promises. Again being sold without and if I get them that will be a plus. If I do obtain them during the auction I will add to the post that I have them. Basically with the truck is what you see is what you get. I stored this truck for the last few years but don't know alot about it other than my friend said he put a ton of money in the truck and it does show...There is another heater boxset up for A/C that is also in the bed that comes with the truck. This bed was purchased brand new through a Dodge dealer it was painted and installed on the truck. This truck has never seen weather until I pulled it out of storage yesterday. The truck needs the interior redone there is a 77 dash in place with no instrumentation. The seats work but no bolted in nor are they for the truck a different year Ram. No carpet. The truck needs 100% gone through, honestly the best thing would be to come inspect the truck so you can no exactly what needs done and have the confidence to bid.The truck was lifted as well. A great looking solid truck underneath is amazing. You will need parts like radiator, inner fenders, and various other parts. This will be one Outstanding Power Wagon finished or again a great parts donor your call any way you go you will not go wrong....If you have any questions at all please feel free to contact me I will be glad to answer your questions or lets say do my best to answer all your questions. The Vin number displayed and the miles are off the newer dash that comes with the truck. Again no expense was spared on the engine it was rebuilt for long term of keeping the truck not for resale. More pictures are available at request. The chassis on this truck is exceptional. The Front bumper and grill are in the truck as well. The grille does have a crack in it. Thank you...
