Description:

1970 Dodge Challenger

Selling my 1970 Challenger. Restored by previous owner. New 340 Crate motor that was dropped in almost 2 years ago, not more than 1000 miles put on the motor. Automatic 3spd transmission. Mileage reads 20,5XX miles. Not sure what true mileage is. I hardly drove it. Once or twice a month. Nowhere near as much as I would like to. Stays under cover most of its time.
Good: Motor is practically new.Paint job is a little over a year old.Pretty much restored completely by previous owners. No rust in usual spots like windshield post, trunk drip rails. (Slight behind right rear wheel and bottom of hood) .Tires in excellent conditionUndercarriage is solid.
Bad: There is an electrical drain that will drain the battery if left undriven for a week. (I use a quick disconnect so no tools needed for longer periods of not driving.)Radio doesn't work.No gauges except for the speedometer work.A couple spots that you can tell have been filled with bondo if looked at closely. (Like in picture of passenger side fender.)Shift linkage is lose so sometimes you have to wiggle shift knob for it to seat correctly. Or require the trans to be in Neutral when turning the key to start it.
Overall the car is beautiful that is fun to drive. Some of the issues are not that big of a deal that you can live with once you learn the cars little niches. A blast to drive to car shows and have around. Also have the vinyle RT side stripe and RT hood blackout uninstalled but I may install it depending on how long it takes to sell.
Sold as-is.I reserve the right to end the auction early.Buyer responsible for shipping.
