The day has finally come for me to part with my gorgeous and beloved yellow Viper. I have had it for almost ten years. I am now a homeowner with other priorities.
This Viper is one of the most desirable Gen 1's you will find. In addition to being the very rare yellow, the original dash that looks terrible on almost all Gen 1's has been replaced and painted to match the car. I still have the original awkward looking soft top, but the car currently has the three piece "trunk top" designed by Jeff Lemke on it. This top is designed so you can take it off with limited effort and store it in the trunk, which the original tops could not do easily. These 3 piece "Trunk Top"s with the replacement windows sold new for $3,700 unpainted. They are now discontinued and unbelievably rare. I am willing to reduce the final price of the car by $2,000 should you decide to go with the original top and windows (which of course I still have and will come with the full purchase price).
I have also replaced the original exhaust with a more beefy Viper specific Roe Racing exhaust. I still have the original exhaust but it moved to Texas with me. I am willing to ship it to the buyer at your cost but, I really cannot imagine why you would want it. The original radio has been replaced with a CD player. I also replaced the yellow badging with black badges as it makes the car absolutely pop. The original intake has been replaced with smooth tubes. Everything else is just like it came from the factory.
The car was recently serviced at Roanoke Motors in Roanoke, Illinois. They are the largest Viper dealer in the country with one of the most respected Viper mechanics in the country. The car runs and shifts perfectly and is a gem mechanically. The exterior is a solid "10". You will truly be hard pressed to find a nicer one for this money.
As a Carfax or Autocheck will show, the car spent much of it's life in Texas. It was owned by one of the owners of "The Texas Bikini Team" and was used in their promotions and events. I added a picture from the time period to document this. I purchased the car in 2009 in Austin, TX with about 20K miles on it and had it shipped to Columbus, Ohio. Two years later I moved to Kansas City and drove the car there. Upon moving to Texas this year, I drove the car back to my home town to have it serviced at Roanoke Motors to make certain it was perfect before putting it up for sale.
I will assist with shipping provided wire transferred funds are received and certified in advance. The buyer will be responsible for all shipping costs. The car is available for inspection locally in Peoria, IL at your cost and will ship from there. It could of course be picked up in Peoria, IL. with payment in cash or bank certified check.

Finally, as I fly a great deal in my job, I do not have cell or internet service much of the day. As a result, it may take a few hours for me to get back to you, so please do not wait until the last minutes before the auction ends to ask questions.
