The transmission shifter super smooth, the original 2.8 engine it has low miles since it was rebuilt no oil leakers no oil consume it has custom modified exhaust and street performance cam it was add not to go faster>>> but to make the engine sound and screaming like a Lamborghini Countach not like GM engine!!! Sometimes when i wait for the green light I push the shift to neutral and I press the gas pedal couple time the peoples from the other cars and street people the get paralyze with the mouth open, also when i take to the local car show the have some other new Lamborghini some 911 couple Detomaso Pantera some Ferrari but all the people are at round my car.... Hahahah. Forget about v8 and manual transmission the best way to go with a Countach kit it is to have the original small engine and auto transmission, you enjoy to drive this car at 20mph not 200! Car has nice original fiero dash no modification and no electric problems not necessary to have Lamborghini dash what makes the impressive on this car it is the outside not the inside, well the interior it is in nice condition and it looks awesome with the lower shift and with the red cluster gauges! Recently all the brakes the wore replaced all the stabilizing ling front rears and engine service tune up .Tires they are almost new car is ready to drive unlimited miles! Remember that to build a nice Countach like this one today it will cost $100k well is not the Fiero chassis that cost lot money but is involve over 2,000 hours labor that the never ends! My currently auto classic insurance is approved for $75k!
